NITA STRAUSS, well-known as one of three guitarists of ALICE COOPER, was out on Nov 16th with a new solo album called CONTROLLED CHAOS, out via SUMERIAN RECORDS.

An instrumental album with Nita who played all guitars and bass, Josh Villalta, her partner in private life, on drums and Katt Scarlett on keyboards.

The album is great, even though the listening of a whole instrumental album isn't always easy; the style is various  with several changes of time, some melodic parts alternating with darker elements.

Great neoclassical runaways in THE QUEST while in songs such as HOPE GROWS vocals parts would have fleshed out the whole track.

If PANDEMONIUM is what we expect from a guitar virtuous, THE SHOW MUST GO ON is a personal but respectful cover of the classic by QUEEN.
