SACRAL RAGE are a really interesting band from Greece, ready with their new album, called "Beyond Celestial Echoes", out on October 19 via Cruz Del Sur Music.
The follow-up to 2015's "Illusions In Infinite Void" was recorded between Ignite Studios (drums, rhythm guitars) and White Socks Studios (vocals, bass, lead guitars and keyboards) with mixing and mastering being handled by Stamos Koliousis.
After the cinematic intro, the first ace is ETERNAL SOLSTICE, with amazing vocals games in KING DIAMOND's mood.
The structure is complex and reminds us the stunning style of SATAN or of band as such as PORTRAIT.
VAGUELY DECODED, almost 8 mins duration, goes on in the same way and is enhanced by fast and technical solos; speed/thrash on high level!
SUSPENDED PRIVILEGE starts with a fast runaway mixed with several variations, at times almost "progressive".
SAMSARA (L.C.E.) is a bit less elaborated and surely closer to classic metal.
NECROPIA, after another cinematic intro, is another wild running, throught amazing structures, changes of times, vocals surprises and natty solos!
Almost 15 mins for THE GLASS, a condensed essence of what this band is able to show!
NO DOUBT, AN ALBUM TO HAVE!
