We can't hide it: after DELIVERING THE BLACK and RULEBREAKER, two albums really appreciated from all, the expectations for the album of the 20th anniversary of the band were obviously high.

LET'S START FROM THE END: honestly APOCALYPSE is a great album, also able to search new ways but maybe it places a step behind compared to eminent predecessors.

After the epic instrumental intro that opens the platter, the first shot is NEW RISE, a power metal song, at times darker, that honestly don't hit the spot.

Surely better THE RITUAL, closer two last album while KING OF MADNESS, well known as single, is a great song, more contemporary and more catchy.

BLOOD SWEAT AND FEAR goes on in the same way of THE RITUAL while SUPERNOVA confirms the effort of the band to look beyond their comfort zone.

HAIL TO THE FEAR, so anthemic, is a powerful song and surely one of the fav of the platter.

HOUNDS OF JUSTICE and THE BEAST are another classic song, heavy with no frills; in our opinion the PF that we prefer!

EYE OF THE STORM, with their 8 mins' duration, is another chance to get away from cliches, while CANNONBALL is the heavier song that ends this album

LASTLY: a great album, maybe with a little break, but anyway PRIMAL FEAR are a band deserving of maximum respect.
