Another right shot by GATES OF HELL RECORDS, a subsidiary label of CRUZ DEL SUR, well-known in Traditional HM scene.

This time is right for Coronary, from Finland and Traveler, from Canada, which have combined their respective debut demos for a split release.

Coronary, who formed in Tampere in 2017, when a pair of Finnish metal veterans, guitarist Aku "Herr Lederwurst" Kytölä and drummer Pate "Batvik" Vuorio, reconnected after bumping into each other at a local flea market, strike first with their German-influenced, unvarnished take on freewheeling ’80s metal.

Strong riffing, fine vocals, so classic but not vintage, inspired solos: this is the recipe of this band throughout FIREWINGS, BULLET TRAIN and MESTENGO. Not least TRAVELER, the 2017 creation of guitarist, bassist Matt Ries; the band is rounded out by Gatekeeper vocalist Jean-Pierre Abboud and drummer Chad Vallier.

STARBREAKER, BEHIND THE IRON and MINDLESS MAZE show a classic HM band full of inspiration, twin guitars and sometimes (mainly in in the last song), atmospheres a bit darker that remind us somethin' from ANGEL WITCH and ENFORCER.

NO DOUBT, A SPLIT RELEASE SURELY TO SUGGEST, HOPING IN A FULL-LENGHT FOR BOTH OF THEM!!
