For a few days is out the new album by MONUMENT, the well-known NWOTHM band from UK.

After two amazing platters, now it's time for the new chapter called HELLHOUND, again out via ROCK OF ANGELS RECORDS.

Let's start from the end: surely this is the album of the final leap!

A lot of people says that they're sons of IRON MAIDEN and maybe a bit derivative.

On our pages we had of course a different opinion: the inspiration from MAIDEN is strong but this band is able to develop this inspiration in somethin' deeply own.

We prefer tell that they're inspired from UK classic metal and you can find it in songs as WILLIAM KIDD or THE CHALICE.

THE END is so different, with its complex structures and the common thread throughout this platter is the use of twin guitars, the relevant presence of bass guitar, the long runaways and top level vocals performance, the whole thing enhanced by a production well groomed.

You won't be sorry about this album if you like this kind of sounds.

As bonus tracks you can find a new great song called CREATURES OF THE NIGHT and two great cover versions of classics as LONG LIVE ROCK'N'ROLL (RAINBOW) and DEJA VU (IRON MAIDEN).
