With “Countersighns”, NECRYTIS by former Onward band Toby Knapp had a deal with Pure Steel Publishing and now, one year later, the second output “Dread En Ruin” is "hot and ready" via Pure Steel Records!

The influence of Onward can be heard, although Toby provides his work here with more progressive spikes.

Drummer, vocalist, lyricist Shane Wacaster and Knapp have created an album surely with complex structures, able to please everyone..fans of classic HM, fans of Prog, the whole thing with a pervasive freshness.

Almost 7 min for STARSHINE, the 1st song, which starts mighty and full of emphasis; next the track develops itself in somethin' classic..really classic, without contemporary asides, enhanced by Maiden's riding and an' epic break.

The title track goes on in the same way, classic but with shredding drops and amazing changes of time.

BLOOD IN THE WELL begins powerful, classic but with a fancy melodic break, while CALL US INSANITY seems to favour faster rhythms.

ODYSSEY DIVING is always classic and smart and is characterised by several changes of times and angry solos...really a great tune!!

The last shot is HERESIARCH PROFANE, over 13 mins duration, the epitome of a real great platter..this track is able to be sinister, darker, epic, classic, heavier..a long riding that doesn't go unnoticed.

LASTLY

What can we add..an album full of ideas that we really suggest!
