Ronald Belford "Bon" Scott (9/7/1946-19/2/1980) was the unforgotten australian singer of AC/DC from 1974 until his death. Scott was born in Forfar, Scotland, and raised in Kirriemuir, before moving to Australia with his family in 1952 at the age of six.
He formed his first band, The Spektors, in 1964 playin' drums and, occasionally, singing.
He performed in other bands as The Valentines, in which Bob was co-lead singer with VINCE LOVEGROVE, and as Fraternity before replacing Dave Evans as singer of AC/DC in 1974.
He also recorded vocals for two Mount Lofty Rangers songs.
Scott, as lead singer of AC/DC with the Young brothers, released classic albums from HIGH VOLTAGE to HIGHWAY TO HELL.
