BAND DREAD
ALBUM FROM THIS WORLD TO THE NEXT
OUT 2018
LABEL Self Release
OUR RATING 83/100
DREAD are back with "From This World to the Next", that sees Dread return with seven new songs after 2010's "Brace for Destruction."
Produced by Taylor at The Pit Studios in Van Nuys, CA, mixed and mastered by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy, Eternal Champion), this album shows soaring vocals, ripping leads, and most importantly, metallic, anthem-prone riffs that'll be sure to satisfy, at first, traditional heavy metal fans but not only. Originally hailing from Albuquerque, NM, Dread is now based in Los Angeles with the current lineup being Taylor Dread on VC, AD Camarena and Vinny G on lead guitar.
Live the band is enhanced by Carlos Gutierrez on DR and Bobby Sins on BG.

They start in waitin' with BLITZKRIEG FROM HELL, ready to raise hell with a raw speed metal, that next develops itself in somethin'classic..an enveloping and fast song.
REDEMPTION LIES starts lilting and deep, enhanced next rapidly by a strong riffing; almost seven minutes between classic HM and soft doom..
TYRANTS OF DEMISE is another step ahead and solo parts are confirmed once again of high standing.
LOST SOULS AVE begins strong and goes in the same way, supported by vocal contributions various and ductile.
THE SLEEP OF LAST BREATH is an extended and full of inspiration song and it's perceived from the beginning.
A real classic track where nothin is the result of chance.
The title track is more "wide" and surely more usable.
Last but not least, UNTIL AGAIN starts melodic and introspective, before strong parts are alternating with more melodic sections.
