WRATHBLADE from Athens, Greece was formed in late 2003 by the guitarist Chris Mosalos (ex-PANIX, DEPRESSION,RAGING STORM). Chris teamed up with Nick Varsamis (LITANY) on vocals and George Koumparoulis (LITANY) on bass.

The band did rehearse with a couple of drummers until the arrival of Nick Papadopoulos (BATTLEROAR).

Soon after Nick Sotiriou came to complete the line-up. Unfortunately, Nick could not keep up the pace with the band due to his schedule with Battleroar, so he was replaced by Giannis Alexandrakis (ARPYIANHORDE, FOREDOOMED) and the act, finally, did reach a stable line up, which now is the following: Giannis Alexandrakis: Drums George Koumparoulis: Bass Nick Sotiriou: Guitars Chris Mosalos: Guitars Nick Varsamis: Vocals WRATHBLADE is nothing but a live band. It has shared the stage with DOMINE, RAM and BATTLEROAR.

GOD OF THE DEEP UNLEASHED is the new platter of the band, an album of a band which learned in the the best way the lesson from the masters, as OMEN or first MANOWAR; these epic parts are well mixed with more classic HM and the overview seems to take precedence over solo parts, surely to be improved.

Songs seem various with great changes of time.

LASTLY

An album interesting for a band forged in the best tradition, of which they want to keep high the flag!
