BAND SANHEDRIN
ALBUM A FUNERAL FOR THE WORLD
LABEL CRUZ DEL SUR MUSIC
OUT 2018 (April 27th)
OUR RATING 80/100
SANHEDRIN is surely one of best new bands from Brooklyn.
Originally self-released, A Funeral For the World gained attention from all NWOTHM fans and not only. This platter starts with RIDING ON THE DAWN, four min of classic HM.
With A FUNERAL FOR THE WORLD this album takes a step forward; surely influenced from BLACK SABBATH, this song is various and complex, but easy to appreciate.
DEMONESS is more direct, following on from first song in the first slice, before switching to more epic and emphatics tones and becoming faster in the last part.
COLLATERAL DAMAGE starts with keyboards to create the right environment; next this song is able to be faster, melodic, and various, the whole thing with the right doses.
FAITH HEALERS is less classic with a more modern approach; a good song maybe less focused than previous tracks.
NO RELIGION is interesting, always various and well-balanced with stunning solo parts.
MASSIVE DECEIVER goes on in the same way before DIE TRYING, more classic HM, with great changes of rhythm that keep alive the song.
LASTLY:
A great album, various and with different and sudden solutions that don't make it never boring!
