We can't hide our emotions for this kind of bands..JUDAS PRIEST is synoniymus with history for all HM fans..and we can't hide that this album is amazing, bearing in mind their advancing years and serious health problems of GLENN TIPTON.

Everything seems to be in flawless working condition: an awesome cover, an all-stars team behind mixer (TOM ALLOM, ANDY SNEAP and MIKE EXETER), songs various and able to fulfil the various expectations made of them.

Different starters (maybe too much..) of this platter were available over the last few weeks and therefore we were already chummy with some songs, but having the chance to listening to it in its entirety is really another experience!

It starts with well-known combo FIREPOWER/LIGHTNING STRIKE..already two classics, hard to forget! Power, high class, top solos and vocals more epic than ever!

EVIL NEVER DIES is likewise fancy and powerful, with a chorus so spot-on, while NEVER THE HEROES sees rhythms lightly slowed down and its riffing gets under your skin!

NECROMANCER is another masterpiece that I'd see in Painkiller album.

CHILDREN OF THE SUN is powerful and hieratic, with Rob that looks in his best shape again.

GUARDIANS is a little instrumental intro to introduce RISING FROM RUINS, a various song with great changes of time.

Next we have FLAME THROWER, surely one of our favs..a real kick in the teeth..we have only one word..AMAZING!

SPECTRE is another well-known track, thank to new clip on line for a few days, while TRAITORS GATE is so epic, strong and with remarkable solo parts.

NO SURRENDER is a song under 3 mins duration, direct and pleasant, while LONELY WOLF is lilting and epic.

SEA OF RED is the more melodic song which begins with acoustic guitar, with Rob really able to slip right through the cracks.

The electric parts enter to give more structure to the song.

LASTLY:

Whether or not a masterpiece? In our opinion it's an amazing album!

PRIESTS are back and we stand in religious respect!
