The first MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST studio album entitled »Resurrection«, co-produced by Michael Voss-Schoen, is out and we can say that it's a real pleasure to see a "big production" as tis.

Besides Michael Schenker and the three M.S.G. singers Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet and Robin McAuley, we can also hear Doogie White (Michael Schenker's TEMPLE OF ROCK) as well as musicians Steve Mann (guitars, keyboards), Ted McKenna (drums) and Chris Glen (bass). In addition, there are also some guest appearances from Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Wayne Findlay and Michael Voss-Schoen included.

LET'S START FROM THE END:

A rich album, well-done produced, with great songs, great part solo and contribution by all singers are well balanced and mixed.

This platter starts rapidly with HEART AND SOUL (with special guest KIRK HAMMETT), enhanced by pressin' drums, with ROBIN MCAULEY which amazes us with his fancy and youthful vocals.

WARRIOR was already known as single and it's able to armonize the contributions of all top players invooved.

TAKE ME TO THE CHURCH starts with a "church's" organ aimed at introducing a classic Schenker 's riffing; here he's DOOGIE WHITE able to inject his typical epic flavour that song needs.

NIGHT MOODS is a brilliant seventies HR song enriched by a monstre-solo of MS!

THE GIRL WITH THE STARS IN HER EYES shows rhythms more sustained, before developing itself in somethin' close to RAINBOW after DIO.

EVEREST fits perfectly with GRAHAM BONNET, while MESSIN' AROUND is a classy hard boogie where GARY BARDEN looks completely comfortable.

TIME KNOWS WHEN IT'S TIME is almost a power metal song, with Robin McAuley one time again is smart.

ANCHORS WAY starts in dark mood before becoming a smart HR, epic as long as necessary.

SALVATION is a great instrumental before LIVING A LIFE WORTH LIVING, melodic, smooth, bluesy at times..it's a pity about the fading solo..

THE LAST SUPPER is the proper conclusion for an amazing return of MICHEAL SCHENKER:
