MIDNIGHT FORCE are a Scottish HM band from Glasgow and, after a single, a demo and a EP, are finally ready with a self-released full-lenght, called "DUNSINANE", available on digital and on CD.
Let's start from the end:
A smart album for all TRADITIONAL HM fans, with drops of British HARD ROCK, EPIC, all cooked with an own recipe.
You can understand it from KILLER, the first song; 4 min of classic and pure HM.
THE SCARLET CITADEL, we can't hide it, is another step forward; a song various and well balanced, able to involve us full.
DOWN TO THE KING is another fast song, while WITCHFINDER is surely one of our fav.
Almost doom in the intro, it develops itself in somethin' enjoyable throughtout seven min of duration.
ALESIA FALLS, with bass in full swing, cannot be forgotten.
CRYSTAL TALON is another gem; 6 min of high class with a complex structure, so epic..amazing!
WARLORD ETERNAL is another great epic ride enhanced from a great solo (the solo parts are always absolutely satisfactory).
Last but not least the title track, a fancy HR tune that draws inspiration, from UFO and THIN LIZZY; after the solo we remind a great flute interlude.
LASTLY:
TRADITIONAL HEAVY METAL is absolutely ALIVE AND LICKIN' and MIDNIGHT FORCE are a further confirmation.
