After 2 year from the well-received DARK DAYS, SALEM return with a new platter called ATTRITION.

Starting from the amazing cover, we can find a fancy album, able to make us happy from the first notes; the usual high class music of Salem enhanced by a well-groomed production, in addition to all songs, within which we can't find degrees of intensity.

This platter starts with the title track, right now powerful and pressing, while the following BLACK AND WHITE is more melodic and dreamin', a gettin'better song second after second.

I'M THE ONE starts in acoustic mood with the heartwarming vocals of Saxby in pole position; next this tune develops itself in an HR pomp and gorgeous, enriched by a classy solo.

LAST WE FORGET is a bit darker with rhythms lightly slowed down, while MY ONLY SON is a real gem, full of melody, with a first part based on vocals plus acoustic guitar before turning to electric part.

SIGHTS OF WONDER is a lilting HR song, while STAY WITH ME is more cuttin' from the start, evolving in a song rich of vibe and shades.

If TAKING CONTROL is a smart HR song, WARNING SIGNS shows us the right power, enhanced by backing vocals really tasteful.

WE ARE GODS and ISOLATION end this album in the best way with right doses of class and intensity!
