Another masterpiece in the amazing history of SAXON!!

Produced by the magic touch of ANDY SNEAP, THUNDERBOLT has no fillers and keeps highest the attention of the listeners from OLYMPUS RISING to ROADIE'S SONG!

OLYMPUS RISING is the classic instrumental intro, right to building the right environment, before the title track, well known as first single of the platter.

Anthemic, powerful, classy, with 2 special solos..nothin' else to say.

THE SECRET OF FLIGHT has rhythm and makes it clear how the band is able to be modern and, at the same time, proud of its history.

NOSFERATU (THE VAMPIRES WALTZ), with CORVIN BAHN on keyboards, starts in waitin' with a great atmosphere before developing itself in a various tune with edgy riffing.

THEY PLAYED ROCK AND ROLL is a tribute to the birth of NWOBHM, to those years which are, maybe, the reason of the birth of Hardrockheavymetal and sees ANDY SNEAP playing the first solo (we want a new HELL album!!).

The side "B" begins with PREDATOR and gets under your skin after two seconds.

SONS OF ODIN is more epic, with rhythm lightly slowed down..it seems already a "classic"!!

SNIPER is heavier and doesn't care about anybody, while A WIZARD'S TALE is no less interesting.

SPEED MERCHANTS is amazing and seems another classic from first albums.

ROADIE'S SONG is a tribute to the life on the road..amazing..and a bit nostaligic.
