Barry Graham Purkis a.k.a. THUNDERSTICK is a legendary name for all our many NWOBHM fans.

Early days of IRON MAIDEN, SAMSON, the iconic mask..everything was written about it.

But THUNDERSTICK is also a band with a new album smart and brilliant out!

This album is able to mix their roots with today and next!

It starts with DARK NIGHT/BLACK LIGHT and it feels all right!

A throbbing British Hard Rock where vocals of Lucie V provides an incredible contribution.

DON'T TOUCH I'LL SCREAM goes on with more melody and relaxed times.

GO SLEEP WITH THE ENEMY (I DARE YA) is full of energy..an high voltage Hard Rock tune..so many are the references connected with the past of THUNDERSTICK..Samson and continuous British flavours inside the song.

THE SHINING is a real gem..over 7 min duration with many changes of time and solos always flawless.

ENCUMBRANCE is a great song, more catchy and with a great melodic break.

After FLY'N'MIGHTY, LIGHTS (TAKE ME AWAY), BLACK WING and THUNDER THUNDER are very inspired with interesting melody's inserts, while I CLOSE MY EYES starts in melodic acoustic way before leave the field at solo's electric parts.
