Athlantis is a band formed in 2003 by bass player STEVE WAVAMAS (MASTERCASTLE, RUXT)

The 1st self-titled album was released with ROBERTO TIRANTI (LABYRINTH) and PIER GONELLA (MASTERCASTLE, VANEXA).

Then TOMMY TALAMANCA, TREVOR (SADIST) and ALESSANDRO BISSA (LABYRINTH, VISION DIVINE) joined the band.

In 2008 ATHLANTIS recorded this second album, re-recorded and re-arranged in 2017.

The new line-up includes ALESSIO CALANDRIELLO on vocals and we have a lot of special guests such as ROBERTO TIRANTI involved in the cover version of masterpiece TRAGEDY (BEE GEES).

DELIAN'S FOOL starts with a great intro, grandiloquent, before developing itself in a great not too fast power.

WASTED LOVE sounds initially in classic HM mood before becoming a great power with a nice melody; a tune easy to make own.

NIGHTMARE is an appreciate dichotomy between clear voice and growl which come from afterlife.

DEVIL'S TEMPTATION is a great power song with prog and classic HM drop, surely a various and complete job.

ANGEL OF DESIRE starts melodic with a gentle arpeggio and goes on with continuous inspiration.

NO FEAR TO DIE begins powerful in classic mood before opening to a great power, various and classy again.

After RESURRECTION it's time for the earlier mentioned cover of TRAGEDY (BEE GEES), a great version of a masterpiece belonging to a different genre of music.

A job well-done and well produced!
